A brief history.

  • 1964

    Founded on the principle of Positive Mental Attitude, Riley Brethour establishes PMA Brethour Realty Brokerage. This milestone marks the beginning of a 55+ year journey for the brokerage — one that reflects a positive approach toward all aspects of the business.

  • 1977

    Andrew Brethour joins PMA and utilizes his background in urban planning to create Housing Data Reports, which become the foremost data authority in the Toronto and Ottawa real estate markets.

    Andrew takes on the leadership role of President of PMA.

  • 2001

    Housing Data Reports merge to form Real Net Canada. To this day, Ottawa Real Market Reports continues as an exclusive PMA service.

  • 2012

    Andrew becomes the first Canadian to receive the Legends of Residential Marketing Award from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in the United States.

  • Today

    As one of Canada’s premiere real estate firms, PMA is a leader in the sale of new homes across Toronto, Ottawa, Collingwood, Kelowna, Calgary, and Naples, selling over 3,000 homes annually.
